I can't seem to keep this thing updated, so it's been awhile.
Im in my macroeconomics class right now...gotta love wireless internet. this is such an awful class. the profesor s cocky and senile, not a good combination.
some big stuff has changed. i have an apartment for next year. i'm gonna live with three other girls, all of which are wonderful. im trying to find a summer job...in montreal...meaning that i wont be home for summer. its hard to find osmeone to sublet my apartment so if i can find a job ill just stay for summer, which has its ups and downs. on the plus side, id get to spend my summer living on my own and being of age in a great city. on the down side, obviously i wouldnt be able to spend as much time with my friends. if i stay ill come home a lot though. and maybe if im home enough i can even work at omax...but i doubt ill even want to. plus it would be really hard to have a job in two different countries.
i have the brand new demos. lauren sent them to me during my poli class. i cant wait to listen to them.
i think my prof knows im not listening. im typing wayyyy more than he's saying, and during the first half of the class i wasn't typing at all. oh well....that's what he gets for sucking at lecturing.
i have a paper due monday and i have noooo idea what to do for it. and i already have plans to go out so i better get started. hopefully tonight myself and the new roommies will be going to Mckibbin's pub. and then friday is the White party...which means i'll finally get to where my white dress!! oooh im excited.
i have so much work to do. shit.
i wasn't gonna fall behind this semester. woops.
i wanna visit people or have them visit me. i miss everyone.
and i wanna go to head automatica in february in connecticut when im home....who wants to come with me?...i think the fury is playing too, so ill say hi for you lauren
actually i probably wouldnt. but whatever.
if you come visit me in montreal soon then i'll get you drunk and take advantage of you...and that's a promise.

so i just read through a bunch of old entries and it felt really good going back to awesome memories....so i've decided that i'm back. for now at least. i want to be able to go back and remember my days in college, or as the canadian folks call it, "university"
so ill start with a list of weird things about canadians
scribbler = notebook (you sound nerdy if you say notebook apparently)
pop = soda
giving head = going down on a girl as well as a guy
tuque = beenie hat
z = zed
if you say "pasta" like you probably do, you sound pretentious...canadians pronounce the first "a" like the "a" in cap
things are "wicked" instead of "wicked awesome"
"pissah" makes you sound insane
"packie" and " a handle" mean nothing
apparently i say "spicy" weird
i'm too american because my family has 4 cars for 4 people
when i think of more i'll let you know
so far school has been alright. i usually hang out with andrea, alex, becca, katie z, and katie d. i'm done with classes and i have 2 more exams, econ and lit, and then i go home for break the 17th, if i ever get around to buying a bus ticket. there were some crazy good times when i went home for thanksgiving. i can't wait to go home and see everybody again. im only around until the 23 and then ill be back the 31 until jan 2. now i have a ton of econ notes to type up so this is it for now.

so im pretty awful at updating this thing. i've got some free time right now so I might as well
drea called me with amazing new yesterday, her brad and I are gonna go to greenday at Umass. amazing. im so excited. and i love drea. brads ok too i guess (jk)
i still dont know where im going to college. ill hear from at least one school by this weekend, the rest hopefully by the end of the month. i still have 5 more schools i'm waiting on. this is brutal. i got offered a nice scholarship to umass plus the free tuition so by financial means I might end up there, but i dont look forward to it. my brother thinks i worked too hard to end up at the same place as him. i happen to agree.
in other news, i'm kind of being stalked by these brazilian guys. both aren't bad looking, one is particualrly cute. but they dont speak english. and they showed up to see me after i got off work yesterday. and i gto wicked creeped out. stuff like that shouldnt happen. it was crazy awkward cause there was nothing to talk about, there being a huge language barrier and all. i looked up how to say go away in portugese, but in nicer terms. i should memorize it.
im babysitting tonight. i havetn babysat in years. i hate being responsible for someone else. but the kid is going to bed right when i get there so it should be all good and ill do my homework.
im so scared for college. it hit me today how rarely i will see everyone. im so scared of losing touch with my friends. im gonna cry at the end of the summer. i know it. this better be the most amazing fucking summer ever. i dont care if i get arrested, sick, grounded, injured, drunk, hospitalized, my ass kicked, or whatever bulllshit, im gonna make this summer count. |
